CERTIFICATION ISO 17889-1:2021

ISO 17889-1 Certified: Gresmalt Group’s Assurance to Sustainable Ceramic Excellence.

Following the audit performed during the course of 2024, the Group achieved a score of 126 points out of the 130 available, thus attaining certification.
The standard consists of 38 indicators spread across environmental, social, and economic fields and features a multi-rating structure which makes it possible to rate the level of performance achieved by the products.

This standard is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations within the 2030 Agenda, focusing specifically on Goal 12, which concerns responsible consumption and production.

CERTIFICATION ISO 9001

The voluntary ISO 9001 standard defines the requirements for a quality management system and aims to increase customer satisfaction through a continuous improvement approach, ensuring process efficiency and compliance with customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

EPD - Environmental
product declaration

The Gresmalt Group has obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), a voluntary declaration that describes the environmental impact of the porcelain stoneware tiles produced in its factories in a transparent, objective and comparable manner.
The EPD provides data on energy and raw material consumption, solid waste production, emissions and wastewater management. The document, drawn up according to rigorous methodological criteria and verified by independent and accredited third parties, guarantees the credibility and reliability of the information.

FDES – Fiche de Déclaration
Environnementale et Sanitaire

The Gresmalt Group has obtained FDES (Environmental and Health Declaration Sheet) certification, a voluntary declaration recognised in France that provides transparent and comparable information on the environmental and health performance of porcelain stoneware tiles.
The FDES provides information on the entire life cycle of the product – from energy and raw material consumption to waste management, emissions and health impacts – encouraging informed choices by designers, distributors and consumers. The document is drawn up using rigorous methodologies and validated by independent, accredited third-party bodies.

QUALITY CERTIFICATION

UPEC Certificate

Subjected to specific tests, the surfaces of our products are evaluated in terms of performance and technical elements with respect to four fundamental indicators: resistance to wear (u), to impact (p), water (e) and chemical aggression (c).
